2nd Annual Twin Cities Thursday Happy Hours Charity Event (Benefiting the NICU at Children’s MN)
Twin Cities Thursday Happy Hours is happy to announce that tickets are now on sale for the 2nd Annual TCTHH Charity Event benefiting the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
My personal connection to hosting and organizing this event as a third-party, is due to the time I spent in the NICU at Children’s when I was born and the spectacular care that I received. I was a preemie at Children’s in very bad health when I was born.
Last year this event, held at Solera, raised $7,000 for the NICU at Children’s. This year’s event is on Thursday, May 26th at Stella’s Fish Cafe in Uptown Minneapolis. This years event will bring together people for a networking event that helps to give back to our local community. There will be food provided by Stella’s for the event, a silent auction, you name the price Sam Adams beer ($1 minium, all Sam Adams proceeds are donated) and fun networking with other Twin Cities business professionals.

Tickets are $20 in advance and can be purchased at: http://tcthh.childrensmn.org. There are only 250 tickets available, so make sure to get yours soon. If there are still tickets remaining before the day of the event, we will sell tickets at the door for $25. If you are unable to attend the event, but would like to support Children’s, you can make a donation.
Please share this event with friends, family, colleagues or business partners that would like to help support this cause and have good time doing it. Thank you all for your support in helping make this event possible, I hope to see you all at the event on the 26th.

March TCTHH Event | “Minnesota Economy Talk and Happy Hour” with Kurt Zellers | Summit Brewing Company
Join us on Thursday, March 24th for a very different Twin Cities Thursday Happy Hours event at Summit Brewing Company in Saint Paul, where we’ll be joined by one of the three most important political leaders in the state, Kurt Zellers, Speaker of the Minnesota House. A four-term Republican legislator from Maple Grove, Zellers (39) will talk about the challenges Minnesota faces with a $5 billion budget deficit. We’ll also ask him about balancing the House floor proceedings, negotiating with Governor Dayton and recruiting new candidates. And we’re told he does it all while fitting in home, hunting and North Dakota hockey (really).

To help Summit in their effort to support Second Harvest Heartland, this event will cost $10 per person, which will be donated to help support hunger relief in the Upper Midwest. This month also marks Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign which helps raise money for Minnesota food shelves.
In addition to having a great speaker at this event, Summit Brewing Company will be providing beer, as well as brewery tours and Buffalo Wild Wings will be providing food for the event.
Please note that this event will start at 5:00 pm. Summit would like to offer their brewery tour to any of those that are interested in seeing it. Tours through the brewery will start at 5:15 pm.
Mr. Zellers will start speaking at 6:15 and will speak for about 30 minutes, allowing time for Q&A afterwards. This event will end at 8:00, which will give everyone plenty of time to network as usual and enjoy beer samples from Summit, as well as food from Buffalo Wild Wings.
You will be required to register and pay $10 for a ticket to this event, since it is a fundraiser for Second Harvest and we are limited to 150 people in the space that Summit is kindly providing us.
Please make sure you register for this event as soon as possible to ensure that you get a ticket, space will fill up fast.
You are encouraged to share this with a colleague, friend or business partner that might be interested in attending.
I look forward to seeing you all there, it will be a fun event! If you have any questions, please let me know.
